EDUCATION:

 

Above all else in this wonderful lifestyle that we all choose to live, EDUCATION, is my number one passion. I believe it is a cornerstone for all that we do. Whether you are on the first day of your journey or your 10,000th day, there is no such thing as too much education. The more you learn, the more you grow. Education is fundamental in providing a stronger community, safer play, and even healthier relationships/dynamics of all kinds.

 

With EPIC I strive to provide a balanced program of education from forms and styles of play to relationship/dynamics, and everything in between. Quality of education is paramount and can only be provided with knowledgeable and experienced presenters. Presenters who have researched, studied, practiced and honed their craft. Presenters who are reputable and who contribute not only to their local communities but also to the greater community.

 

We all know that there is no one true way to do what we do and this is why I often use different presenters for the same or similar topic during a single event. So much can be learned from different perspectives and that is a valuable addition to the education EPIC provides; different perspectives with a core focus on being as safe as possible while doing what it is that we do.

 

PLAY:

 

What is that we do...negotiation to building a scene to aftercare (bottom & Top). From rope to knife to fire to mummification to canes to paddles to barehanded spankings to flogging to figging to wax and everything in between and beyond. Sadistic play to sensual play to primal play to

littles play to pet play and everything else in between and beyond.

EPIC strives to cover it all.

 

EPIC educational events are about you, the community. If there is something you want to learn or learn more about, let me know, I'll do my best to find a knowledgeable,  skilled, reputable presenter to do a class.

 

We all play at different levels with different interest, the one thing we all have in common is we need to learn how to do what we enjoy doing. Like G.I Joe - The more you know!

 

INTEGRITY:

 

Yours before mine, Presenters before mine, Venues before mine, The Educations before mine. When you attend an EPIC educational event come knowing that I have done everything I can to protect and uphold the integrity of everyone and everything involved. I strive to provide as much information about the event to the community as possible before every event, including detailed class descriptions and presenter bios. I always want to hear from you the community. If you have a concern about a class, a presenter, a venue, even me, reach out, let me know, I will address it.

 

I have dropped classes and presenters because of community concern that was constructive and valid. I have dropped a presenter, who went through a vigorous vetting process, even presented at other well know events, however a consent allegation surface from 10yrs ago. Decisions made to protect the integrity of the education and the participants of the event, whether presenters - attendees - venue. The EPIC inbox and my personal inbox is always open and everything remains confidential. No matter how small the concern, if you have it, please express it, I take all concerns seriously.

 

Without integrity the education loses credibility and without credibility the education is worthless.

Therefore integrity is a driving force behind all EPIC events.

 

CONSENT:

 

For me, for EPIC, Consent is the very foundation of what we do. It separates all that we do from abuse. Consent is everything. Consent is not black and white, it is not as simple as some believe. Personally and through EPIC I am huge proponent of enthusiastic informed consent through effective communication, active listening, respect, and negotiation. From a touch on the shoulder to a consensual non-consent abduction scene and everything in between and beyond, enthusiastic informed consent is paramount.

 

Education, Play, Integrity and Consent are all interwoven in the tapestry that is EPIC. From Top to bottom and bottom to Top, they are entwined and create the basic fundamentals of this wonderful lifestyle. They rely and feed off each other helping us grow, strengthening our community and enhancing our experiences.
