Protecting your personal information is very important to EPIC Education Center, and we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect the personal information you share with us.
Information that we collect
When you visit our website, you provide us and/or our domain host (Wix.com) with non-personal information (such as your IP address and browser type) that does not identify you personally, but gives us information about your computer and about your activities on our site. This information includes your IP address, your browser type, the date and time you access the site, and the website that referred you to our site. We also collect and store information from your computer using “cookies.” A cookie is a small file stored on your computer that is tied to information about you. For example, when you sign up for our newsletter, cookies will be used to save your email address so the next time you visit from the same computer we will “remember” your email address and you won't be asked to join our newsletter again.
If you buy a ticket or enroll in a program or special offer you will be redirected to our choice of Ticketing site, Tickeleap or Eventbrite, for purchase processing. The Ticketing site will collect financial information from you (your credit card number and expiration date, billing address, etc.). EPIC Education Center does not have access to nor retain credit card information.

We use Typeform.com for our electronic forms. All responses to our electronic forms through Typeform are stored on our account through Typeform.com and we receive responses through secure email and reports generated through Typeform.com. Beltane is the only employee who is authorized access to our Typeform.com account. Only authorized employees are permitted to receive your personal information via responses to our electronic forms, and they may do so only for limited reasons: to process event registration, presenter applications, vendor application and agreement, affiliate group applications, special activities applications, event volunteer applications, and/or furniture/equipment lease agreements.

Each site uses appropriate security measures and uses firewalls to help prevent unauthorized access to your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers may not gain access to your personal information. You should note that in using the internet, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control or the control of our Ticketing sites and Typeform.com.

EPIC Education Center will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for any purpose.
User content
We may provide areas on our website where you can post information about yourself, communicate with others, post reviews or upload content (e.g. pictures, videos, audio files, etc.). Keep in mind that postings may appear on other websites or when searches are conducted on search engines on the subject of your posting.
If you post any content to our website we will treat it as non-confidential and non-proprietary to you. Information that is posted to our website shall not be subject to the Privacy Policy and may be publicly displayed and disclosed. You should not post information about yourself on the website that can be used to identify or contact you, including, but not limited to, your name, home or work address, phone numbers, email address or other such information. If you post such information, EPIC Education Center cannot prevent it from being used in a manner that violates its Terms of Service, the law, or your personal privacy and safety.
Minor's privacy
The Website is not intended for any person under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from any person under the age of 18. By using the Website, you are representing that you are at least 18 years of age.

If you are visiting the Website from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated.

Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information about how we share certain categories of personal information with third parties. California law gives you the right to send us a request at a designated address to receive the following information:

Each ticket that you purchase is a license to attend a particular event, and is subject to the rules of the event , any additional terms set forth on that ticket as well as any applicable terms which the venue imposes.
Order Confirmation
If you do not receive a confirmation number (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with EPIC Education Center whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. EPIC Education Center will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
Event Providers reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with Event Provider rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.

Limitation of Liability
You assume all risks incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during or after, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against EPIC Education Center, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees or agents on behalf of yourself.
Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a private event, that the appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are private, and that you do not have permission to violate the privacy of other ticket holders by recording, transmitting or exhibition of the event. Violation of this policy will be cause for immediate rejection from the event without refund from EPIC Education Center and the Event Venue.
Re-Sale of Tickets; Commercial Purposes
Unlawful resale of tickets (or attempted resale) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by EPIC Education Center, provided that even if such consent is obtained, any use of EPIC Education Center trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to EPIC Education Center's written consent.
The majority of our events have a refund period, there a few that do not. These situations apply to events that do no have a refund period or the refund period has expired.
I don't really like the weather, can I get a refund?
EPIC Education Center does not offer refunds due to poor weather conditions. In general, all events are rain or shine.
In the case of a natural disaster, we will contact the event venue for their instructions. If the event venue cancels due to natural disaster the event will be rescheduled and all registrations will be applied to the new date.
Bereavement, Illness, or scheduling conflict
The only circumstance under which we can refund an order is if there has been a significant change made to an event and we have announced that refunds are available. We can not offer refunds due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal issues.

We will transfer your ticket to another party for situations of bereavement or illness. An admin charge of $13.95 per ticket will apply.

We were attending as a couple but we broke up, can we get a refund?
Unfortunately we cannot issue a refund due to a break up. We will transfer one or both tickets to another party. An admin charge of $13.95 per ticket will apply.
Age Limit and Identification
Please be sure to have your government issued ID with you when you check in to the event. Age restrictions are always posted on the event page and ticket purchase page for our events and we do require your ID to prove your age. Your ID MUST contain your birth date. If your ID does not contain your birth date, or you purchased tickets for an event that you are not of the correct age to attend, and you are turned away from the venue for that reason, you will not be eligible for a refund.
