Master class format is a style of education used in the arts where students create something and then have the leaders of the class suggest methods of improvement for everyone to hear so that everyone can benefit from this knowledge. This does not mean that you must be a "master" in order to take this class but simply that you are willing to share your work and have it critiqued for the benefit of everyone. Efficiency in Motion
Have you ever wondered how those rope performers are able to tie so fast and make it look like it takes no effort at all? This is class for you! In this class, we will discuss and practice some of the techniques that tops can use in order to tie more efficiently. This will lead to less fumbling with the rope and a better experience for both top and bottom.

Suspension for pain
Sometimes you really just want your bottom to suffer and that’s what this class is all about. We are going to explore techniques for causing extra pain on top of what is already experienced by the bottom when they’re in the air. We will mostly focus on techniques for creating positional pain or adding strain to an already stressful situation by applying torque, extra weight, and leverage. We’re going to explore these techniques for increasing pain in a controlled manner while focusing particularly on how the risks change and how to go about mitigating those risks.

Our kinky educational system is flawed and incomplete. Most of the classes that are available to us teach nothing more than basic skills, negotiating, and safety safety safety. And for beginners, that's a great start and is fine. But where do you go from there once you've been in the scene a while and know what you're doing? This will be a frank and open discussion about building a scene that goes beyond the textbook basics. More than just spread eagle on the bed, there are many techniques to bind your lover for better exposure, sex and stimulation. Topics may include the Tie 'Em Up and Fuck 'Em Rope, bamboo ties, Hitachi ties and rope as a sex toy. This class is geared for the intermediate to advanced player. Hands on participation is encouraged but not required. Tops should know how to tie a solid chest harness, at least one kind of wrist/ankle cuff and a workable futomomo or frog leg tie. Partners should be familiar with each other’s limits and limitations.

Please bring rope if you want to play along, at least 2 pieces 10' - 15' long and at least 3 pieces 25' to 30' long. Please feel free to bring carabiners, bamboo, wand type vibrators and other things you might want to incorporate into your bondage for sex.

Practical Predicaments
Predicaments are fun for the top and challenging for the bottom. Most people think of predicaments as requiring extraordinary strength, balance or endurance but this doesn’t have to be the case. This class explores a wide range of predicament situations and bondage play that are accessible and enjoyable for people of average strength and agility. Some predicaments involve complex rope bondage and equipment while others require little more than willing participants up for a challenge.

This class is geared for the intermediate to advanced player and is presented in a workshop/skill share type format. Participation is strongly encouraged. Participants should be aware of their partners’ limits and limitations. 

Please bring rope, carabiners, suspension ring, clamps, clips, hooks and other toys and materials you would like to incorporate into your predicament scene. A thread will be started in the Detentions & Suspensions group on FetLife where we can discuss your predicament scene ideas.

Have you ever wanted to ride your rope bottom while they are suspended?? This class will cover how to safely ride or mount your bottoms when they are in flight. We will discuss safety and proper weight distribution for riding your bottoms. Students will learn where pressure should be added in suspension ties and how to maneuver their bodies while riding their bottoms. Students will also learn how to apply pressure and weight to their bottoms without putting their full body load on them. This class will be discussion, demonstration and hands on.

Agura: Criss-Cross Apple Sauce!
This class will cover an Agura (cross-legged) tie variation that was developed by YumYumPanda and Alexander-Nero. In this class, we will cover the overall pattern for the tie along with applications for all types of rope scenes. We will demonstrate how this tie manages on the ground, in the air and in partials. Students will have a chance to tie the pattern along with practicing some applications of the tie. This class will be demonstration and hands on.

* Prerequisite knowledge: Know how to tie a single and double column tie. Knowledge of basic anatomy and rope safety along with rope management and up line management skills.

* You will need 6-8 ropes for this class preferably 25-30ft. I always suggest natural fibers such as jute or hemp, but nylon may be used for this class. Safety shears or a cutter is required.
